SignaCert Names Jeffrey McMahon as Senior Vice President of Products

20-year veteran brings a strong background in Agile development and leadership at leading software companies like Netscape and SunSoft

AUSTIN, TX — July 02, 2014 — SignaCert, the whitelist-driven compliance and system integrity monitoring company, today announced the addition of Jeffrey McMahon as senior vice president of products. McMahon brings a proven track record of enterprise software and company development, most recently as the vice president of products at Open Labs.

McMahon began his career in Silicon Valley, where he held strategy, business development and executive roles at SunSoft (Sun Microsystems, acquired by Oracle), Netscape (AOL), AllBusiness and Kenamea (Scivantage).  In Austin, McMahon was the chief executive officer at Digilife before leading products at Open Labs. At Open Labs, McMahon successfully lead the company’s transition to Agile software development while launching a brand new product—a product that had users in 120+ countries within 18 months of launch.  He is applying the same leadership and product development strategies at SignaCert.

“SignaCert’s whitelist-driven solutions are designed to increase security, lower operating expenses and move organizations into a position of continuous compliance,” said Toney Jennings, chief executive officer for SignaCert. “As the company accelerates into a hyper-growth phase, SignaCert and its customers will benefit from Jeff’s ability to solve complex problems and create solutions that are easy to use and extremely reliable.”

Because of the noise and accuracy issues of traditional compliance and file integrity monitoring (FIM) solutions, organizations have been forced to rely on costly and infrequent manual audits to demonstrate annual compliance. SignaCert Integrity, the only whitelist-driven compliance and system integrity monitoring solution, enables organizations to be continuously compliant and to verify the integrity of systems, at the lowest total cost.
