DMZ: Hosted Service

SignaCert's DMZ provides independent controls and verification services for devices operating in your DMZ. SignaCert DMZ validates that systems and applications match their post-production release state exactly. If there is not an exact match, DMZ produces a detailed deviations report showing explicitly which files have changed - allowing rapid remediation.

You need SignaCert DMZ if you:

  • Need independent verification of systems and applications operating in the DMZ
  • Have open DMZs and are uncertain what's operating there
  • Know that systems and applications operating in the DMZ are always "suspect"

SignaCert DMZ is easy to use and has a very low-risk deployment because it is non-invasive. No changes are required to your existing processes.

DMZ Product Information

DMZ is SignaCert's hosted ETS service that stores references for devices that are located in your DMZ, enabling you to verify that those devices are deployed as intended.

SignaCert deploys its client to your DMZ devices for scanning and then compares what's actually there to the reference stored in the hosted ETS. You will then receive reports and alerts detailing the state of your DMZ devices. If devices do not match the reference exactly, a detailed deviation report is generated and you will be notified that deviations were detected. Knowing what is not in-spec allows you to quickly address problems and return devices to their desired states.

SignaCert's DMZ hosted service is expected to release in early Q4 2007. Please sign-up if you are interested if you wish to be notified when the product is released.
