SignaCert Releases Version 5.7 of Product Suite

SignaCert releases version 5.7 of Enterprise Trust Server software suite

Portland, OR — April 10, 2012. Continuing its leadership in compliance automation and vulnerability assessment solutions, SignaCert announces version 5.7 of Enterprise Trust Server (ETS) software suite.

With this release, SignaCert offers enhanced support for OVAL-based vulnerability assessment. A customer can subscribe to any OVAL-compliant feed and incorporate those vulnerability definitions into their assessment policies. Not only will SignaCert continuously monitor systems for vulnerabilities, but it automatically checks OVAL feeds (such as MITRE's OVAL Repository) for updates and incorporates new definitions as they are made available. This allows customers to fully automate their vulnerability assessment process with minimal effort. To provide additional reliability and robustness, SignaCert provides access to an authenticated OVAL repository directly from the SignaCert Customer Cloud. This repository ensures seamless integration for SignaCert customers even as OVAL versions and formats evolve.

SignaCert further extends its platform support for OVAL (Open Vulnerability and Assessment Language), providing interpreters for both 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, and Solaris.

SignaCert now provides all checklists (including NIST 800-53, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and COBIT) in SCAP format. This ensures that all of SignaCert's compliance solutions are available using open standards without any proprietary extensions.

• Optimized support for monitoring the Windows registry
• Browse information on remote systems from the SignaCert management console, greatly simplifying the policy creation process
• Additional ease-of-use enhancements

Version 5.7 will be available for shipment in early May of 2012 and is available immediately for demonstration and evaluation.
